About ST EDWARDS SS BUKUUMI
ST EDWARDS SECONDARY SCHOOL BUKUUMI is a Catholic Church-founded, government-aided mixed boarding school located in the Kakumiro District of Uganda. Founded in 1945 by the White Fathers and managed by the Brothers of Christian Instruction since 1948, the school has been a beacon of educational excellence for over 80 years.
Our Heritage: The school transitioned to a mixed institution (accepting both boys and girls) in 1976. Recent infrastructure developments include newly constructed girls' dormitories and modern classroom blocks.
Our Mission: We provide quality Catholic secondary education following Uganda's standard curriculum for O-Level and A-Level students. Our motto, "Honor et Labor" (Honor and Labor), reflects our commitment to academic excellence and moral development.
